Scott Boatright Monday, June 25, 2007 Former Louisiana Tech linebacker Barry Robertson has earned a football championship, and helped his bid at earning a spot in the NFL in the process. Allocated by the New York Giants, Robertson's Hamburg Sea-Devils defeated the Frankfort Galaxy 37-28 last weekend for the NFL-Europe Championship. The hard-hitting former Bulldog played a vital role in the Sea Devils' championship run, Robertson ranked second in regular sesaon tackles for the Sea Devils, totaling 32 tackles with one sack, two pass break-ups and an interception. Robertson started at middle linebacker for the Sea Devils in the World Bowl, totaling five tackles and a pass break-up. The 6-1, 245-pounder also had five tackles and a forced fumble a week earlier in an overtime playoff win over the Rhein Fire.
